Fiona believes in walking in the clients’ customer’s shoes when partnering with clients to build their brand. Also, building a company that recognises potential and empowers and grows people, particularly youth. Fiona has over 25 years of experience, Brand Strategy, Brand Architecture, Identity and Brand design, Collateral design, Environmental design both retail and corporate, Brand Engagement, Signage design, Brand Activation and Digital design and development are also her areas of expertise. She has solid experience in advertising, communication, classical marketing and print and production, which provides depth of context to any brand project she’s involved in. She has worked extensively in Africa, primarily Nigeria and Mauritius and has also worked in Rwanda, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Namibia, Mozambique, and Morocco.

Michalski

Design Director

Maciek endeavours to bring authentic and intimate technologies back into the studio such as silkscreening, ‘hand painting’ and illustration, vinyls and loves exploring the rich and meaningful art of poster design. He has over 20 years’ experience in design. Awards include - 2012 Loerie Grand Prix, 8 Gold, 17 Silver and 15 Bronze Loerie awards. 2010 Cannes Bronze, Clio Silver, Ad of the Year. 2011 One Show Merit, 2 Clio Silver, 2 Cannes Silver. Top 3 Design Studio, Top 3 Creative Directors. Maciek is inspired to bring ‘vanished’ art and design technologies, inspiration, stimulation and influence, that previous generations took for granted, back into his studio. He starts every project with books, not just graphic design books but everything from architecture to fashion to jewellery to movies. Looks for inspiration in unexpected places, searching for intriguing content. Believes in drawing with pencils before bringing technology to the design concept.

Donald started with Hitchcock Michalski as an intern, in 2014, and has rapidly proven himself in every area of the business. He manages clients with respect, efficiency and conscientiousness, and provides a solid foundation to the client focussed offering at Hitchcock Michalski. He is a beneficiary and trustee of Hitchcock Michalski Africa, Level 2 BBBEE, and exemplifies our approach of mentoring, learning and development in order to grow and empower our staff to become successful and contributing citizens of our country.
